You will also need a bigger Class IV or Class V hitch that can support the combined weight of your bike (est 536 lbs), VH-Sport RO (111 lbs) and the Tongue weight of your trailer. ANSWER: The VH-55 RO model carrier will work great for your scooter. The chock is adaptable with this carrier. However, the only problem I see is the possibility of the front fairing being too low on your scooter and possibly hitting the top of the chock. The very front of the chock at the highest point is 13″. Yes, the chock is used to help hold the bike upright so that you can strap the bike down. Hope this helps.
